Each year, members of Cherry Hills Christian School’s Faculty and Staff are given an important survey from the Best Christian Workplaces Institute that identifies the health of their workplace culture. The results help guide CHC administrators in their leadership of every aspect of the school.
We’re pleased to share that CHC has been renamed a “Best Christian Workplace” and is operating in the category of “flourishing,” according to the most recent survey, conducted earlier this month. Of the 98 surveys distributed, 94 were completed. The survey asks respondents to evaluate their school according to eight different areas of concern:
- Teamwork
- Life-giving work
- Outstanding talent
- Uplifting growth
- Rewarding compensation
- Inspirational leadership
- Sustainable strategy
- Healthy communication.
This top status is a huge accomplishment after an academic year of changes and unforeseen challenges — and one that brings credibility and validity to all of the hard work Head of School Kati Melton, her administrative team, and staff have been accomplishing. It is important for parents to know their children’s teachers and school staff members stand behind the leaders and the school they serve. When teachers and staff are equipped, fulfilled and strategically led, the culture is joyful and effective.
