Cherry Hills Christian School continually reaches for excellence in education and school community-building — and so we are delighted to present the latest version of our website.
This new hub on the web aims to reflect the valuable feedback and requests we have received from CHC parents and other members of our community, all of whom have asked for clear, consistent and efficient communication and digital tools to make it easier for our families, community partners, alumni and donors to be connected and helpful to the advancement of CHC’s mission and vision. We also want to ensure everyone can access the information they need, when they need it.
With your significant input, CHC Director of Communications and Marketing Shannon Havekost and Highlands Ranch-based communications consultancy Media Salad, Inc., which is led by proud CHC Lion Mom Christine Tatum, got to work in April. A nationally assembled team of top designers and writers with expertise in the field of education (never mind that they’re all parents, too) finished in just two and a half months a complete site overhaul. The new site will give CHC the flexibility to develop an array of new services and educational opportunities for students and parents alike. It also specifically is designed to be a strong support for our remote learning program, CHC Connect, and to fully inform prospective families searching for excellent Christian education within a school environment committed to honoring learning differences and to a holistic approach to promoting student wellness.
Among our site’s new features:
Three schools in one. Prospective and current parents can head straight to the CHC school of their choice — The Preschool, The Lower School and/or The Upper School — to find information and resources pertaining directly to those programs. A dashboard at the top of each of school’s front-door page makes it especially easy for current parents to track upcoming events and latest school announcements. Each school’s “front door” also is accessed easily from the home page and the universal, upper navigation rail. URLs are also intuitive and simple to remember: .com/the-preschool, .com/the-lower-school and .com/the-upperschool.
CHC Directory. Our new directory contains information about all Leadership team members, Faculty and Staff. Search by team or individual name.
Events Calendar. Search for all school events, or narrow according to school, grade or topic. Download event information into your personal, digital calendar so your schedule is always updated.
The “Easy Button pages.” We have created new pages that help students and parents have easy access to tech support and to the log-in screens for CHC’s school-management tools and services, such as Canvas, FACTS (formerly Renweb) and Wholesome Food Services. Another new page specifically encourages CHC alumni to stay in touch with us.
News. CHC’s blog promises to be one of the most powerful and helpful tools for engaging students and keeping them on track with their learning year ’round, whether on our campus or studying with us via CHC Connect. Search by subject (the topics we track are listed, and our list is bound to grow), or keyword to find helpful information about everything from students’ achievements, to outstanding Faculty contributions to tips on character development.
Admissions and Re-enrollment. Our new site presents a streamlined, step-by-step process for admissions that we hope you’ll share with family and friends who are searching for a wonderful school for their children.
