We periodically update our lists of virtual field trips as part of our remote learning program, CHC Connect. These tours can inform students’ classwork, give them new ideas and inspire their imagination.

The Smithsonian’s National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute. Visit here for a collection of fun activities you can do at home to learn about the animals and people who make this place a world leader in natural conservation. Online exercises and videos are even translated into a few different languages, so you can practice learning in different languages, too.
Zoo Atlanta: Visit here for a livestream look at the zoo’s pandas, who come out to eat and play every day.
San Diego Zoo: Visit here to check in with your favorite animals on an array of live-cam video streams. You can switch easily among koalas, tigers, giraffes, owls, apes — and plenty more.
