Athletics play a vibrant and important role at CHC each year — and now the Lions of The Upper School will have the chance to compete in the Front Range Charter League, a highly competitive middle-school sports program with end-of-season playoffs, tournaments and league championships.
The league is composed of local charter and Christian schools, including Ben Franklin Academy, Skyview Academy, Platte River Academy, North Star Academy and Southeast Christian School. Initially, CHC students in Grades 6-8 will compete in girls’ volleyball, boys’ and girls’ basketball, boys’ volleyball, and girls’ soccer. We look forward to adding more competitive league play to our program. CHC Parents who would like to be helpful with the launch of new CHC teams should contact Athletic Director Cheryl Ballard.
CHC’s Athletic Program offers a balanced and competitive complement and/or alternative to other youth sports leagues. All students are encouraged to try a new sport — and to attend league games to cheer for our Lions.
