The first point of staff contact for many prospective Cherry Hills Christian School students and their families is our Director of Enrollment, and our school has been blessed for decades to have this vitally important role filled by knowledgeable, caring and faithful people.
Standing at the helm of the Admissions and Enrollment Department for 24 years is Judy Tsuji, to whom we bid farewell with our profound thanks and wishes for the happiest of retirements. She arrived at CHC in 1997, serving as a teacher in The Preschool before making a transition to admissions, where she has greeted families, fielded their questions and helped to ensure their application processes go smoothly. Judy has been a tremendous ambassador for our school, often sharing with families how her own children’s experiences as CHC students made positive and lasting impacts that significantly shaped them.
Judy said she is looking forward to spending more time with her husband Gary and their extended families, nurturing relationships with friends and spending time outdoors with her two Labradors.
“For the past 24 years, each day that I have walked into the school building, I have felt God’s presence,” she said. “I have been blessed with the support and friendships of the CHC staff and families and will always carry you in my heart. May His light shine upon each of you, and may your relationship with Him grow here at Cherry Hills Christian.”
CHC also is saluting new Director of Enrollment and Community Engagement Stafie Parker. Stafie is charged with the responsibilities of student enrollment and also with helping CHC families find fellowship, enrichment and fun here. Before her arrival, she worked in nonprofit development in Birmingham, England; Baltimore City Public Schools; and the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Stafie has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Wyoming, a master’s degree in counseling and certification in Teacher Leadership and Administration from Johns Hopkins University, and a certification in Coaching and Mentoring from The Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring in the U.K. She and her husband Jason and their three children have been proud CHC Lions for more than a decade.
