Each year, Cherry Hills Christian School leads Ministry in Motion serving opportunities that we hope instill in our Upper School students in Grades 6-8 the importance of service and the need to demonstrate God’s love through acts of kindness and compassion for others.
On Nov. 12, our Upper School students served at 12 locations throughout metro Denver and in Colorado Springs — and at three of those spots, students delivered food, toiletries and other useful items they and dozens of their CHC classmates and other members of our school community collected and donated the day before. Upper School students’ Ministry in Motion travels took them to nonprofit organizations and ministries focused on working with seniors, single mothers, immigrants, families needing food and shelter, and adults with special needs who need assistance throughout the day.
