Our school shares space with Cherry Hills Community Church, one of the largest and most vibrant churches in Colorado. We occupy a beautiful campus on 66 acres in the heart of Highlands Ranch, a southern suburb of Denver with expansive views of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Our 255,000 square feet of facilities give CHC students and their families access to:
- A 3,500-seat auditorium/Worship Center, where everyone is invited to worship and learn throughout the week.
- Wild Blue, a bustling coffee shop and cafe with grab-and-go meals and snacks, zippy wireless Internet access, gift and book sections, and the best views and comfiest seating in all of Colorado.
- The Prayer Room, a quiet place for prayer, self-reflection and meditation.
- The Church and The Lower School Libraries, both of which are stocked with robust collections for learning.
- Outdoor spaces overlooking the Front Range, including an expansive patio featuring fire pits and generous seating, and The Memorial Garden, a beautiful place for meditation.
- The Dixon Chapel, a separate and special landmark that hosts weddings, funerals, memorials and other significant events.
- Comfortable classrooms, including spaces for music and art, and labs for science and tech instruction.
- A full-size gymnasium, playgrounds and sports fields.

Family enrichment through spiritual growth
At Cherry Hills, families are encouraged to learn and serve — and to do so together. Throughout the academic year, CHC provides several enrichment opportunities for our families. Among them:
Parent University
CHC proudly partners with ministries, community leaders and local and state government agencies to provide resources, classes and seminars centered around timely topics. This community collaborative encourages parents to get to know each other as they learn together.
All-School Chapels
These services are held quarterly, and are a great time for families to worship together.
Missions Trips
Our various efforts to be of service to others include travel near and far. Students and their families are encouraged to participate in missions trips that have taken us to rural villages in other countries, to orphanages and Native American reservations in other states — and to nonprofit organizations right here in metro Denver.
Cherry Hills Community Church
CHC families are always welcome for services, small-group discussions and events. We also invite you to learn more about the church’s KidsPoint for children from birth through Grade 4, MidPoint for children in Grades 5-8, and HighPoint for youth in Grades 9-12.

Connections through community events
CHC is always up to something special. Our Signature Events help define our warm and welcoming culture, build our vibrant community and enhance the student and family experience. We also welcome discussions about event sponsorships, which are a wonderful way to promote personal and professional causes and support CHC.
Friday Night Lights
This is usually a crisp, fall evening of food, fun, fellowship and football! Our families tailgate and enjoy food from local vendors, outdoor lawn games, and performances by the CHC Praise Band and The Lower School Choir. After dinner, everyone heads to nearby Valor Christian High School to cheer the Eagles on to victory!
Cherry Brick Road
This all-school celebration and community open house highlights the strengths of our academics by showcasing students’ achievements and giving everyone an exciting look at the year ahead.
Special Persons’ Day
This is a wonderful time for CHC students to introduce our school to the special people in their lives — including grandparents, favorite coaches and family friends.
Grateful Giving
CHC’s annual giving campaign launches around Thanksgiving and helps advance and enhance our school. Fundraising is directed to specific areas aligned with our goals — and we love hosting a special thank-you event for our donors.
All-School Christmas Chapel
This is a glorious, student-led celebration of God in the highest and the peace and goodwill He brings to the world. Students and parents are invited to this special worship service — and to wear their Christmas finery.
ROAR
This is always a spring week to remember! The CHC Lions ROAR with pride for our school with a few days of activities that typically include a student spirit week, assemblies with special guest appearances, a fundraising fun run — and a great night out for parents.
Dodge for a Cause
Students meet for friendly competition over games of dodgeball on the one day of the year CHC also encourages them to eat all of the cookies, candies and fast foods their hearts desire. All proceeds from this event go toward support of missions and ministries around the world.
Welcome to the Pride
This is the first step of a Christ-centered academic career at Cherry Hills Christian School. Our youngest Lions and their families are invited for this special introduction to Kindergarten that includes photos with our mascot, Roary the Lion, and presentations designed to help everyone begin to build their CHC community and feel more at ease and excited for the upcoming school year.
