Betsy has more than two decades of education experience and previously worked in Grade 5 at CHC from 2006-2012. From 2012- 2022, she worked for a missions nonprofit and organized group trips to Kenya.  Betsy loves the foundation of CHC, teaching the whole child... heart, soul, mind, and strength. She loves creating amazing memories for the students as they cap off their Lower School experience while preparing them for their futures in the Upper School.

Betsy graduated from the University of Colorado- Boulder and received her master’s degree with a focus on Gifted Education from the University of Denver. She is also an Affiliate Faculty member of Colorado Christian University, teaching in the Teacher Education Program.

Betsy and her husband are avid sports fans and love our Colorado teams. They are proud parents to a Xavier Musketeer, a CHC Lion, and two yellow labs.

Her favorite Bible verse is 3 John 1:4, “I have no greater joy than to hear my children walk in the truth.”
