Brenda Lucas

Upper School Office Manager
Brenda Lucas uses her extensive professional experience as a classroom teacher and school administrator to help ensure Cherry Hills Christian School's Upper School operates smoothly. She is a Chinook, Mont., native with a master's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Colorado-Denver and a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Montana-Eastern.
Shortly after moving to Colorado with her husband in 1993, Brenda taught for 11 years at Summit Ridge Middle School, where she enjoyed engaging students in lessons on healthy living in her physical education and health classes. After achieving her master's degree, she served for another 16 years as an assistant principal at Dakota Ridge High School.
In her free time, Brenda enjoys walking every morning with her husband and their beloved golden-doodles, spending time with her adult sons, taking time for meditation and prayer, and visiting family in Montana.
One of Brenda's favorite Bible verses is "Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
