Christy has lived in Colorado since she was a child. As a graduate of Colorado Christian University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Biblical Studies, she has loved watching the Lord empower her to love His people with His love. She has taught students in many grade levels since she graduated in 2000. Over the years, she also has served as a mentor teacher, a grade-level team leader, and a dean of students. She is passionate about discipleship and is committed to leading in a way that will leave those around her feeling deeply known and fully loved.

When she is not at school, Christy enjoys spending every minute possible with her husband and four children. They love calling Colorado their home and enjoy being in the great outdoors – especially on a paddle board. With Christ as their foundation, they are rooted in His redemptive story that He continues to write for them.
