Deshaunne is a Minnesota native who found her way to Colorado to play soccer at the University of Denver. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and a master's degree in Education. She has taught in public and private schools in Minnesota; North Dakota; New York; and most recently, for the last 12 years, in Denver. Deshaunne arrived at CHC in 2022. She feels blessed that she will continue to be in a Christian environment, where she can share the love of Jesus with her students. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being active in this beautiful state.

Her favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11; “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
