Gisele Conn

Art and Spanish Teacher, Grades 6, 7 and 8

Gisele is a professional artist with a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University and State of Colorado licensure in Spanish and Art.

She is chair of the Spanish Language Department and also directs The Upper School's Visual Arts Program. Gisele teaches art and Spanish with an emphasis on authentic, hands-on methodologies, including techniques in brain-based learning and Design Thinking. She has a certificate in The Science of Imagination from the Learning and the Brain Teachers College, Columbia University and also Guiding Students to Build Brain for Creative and Cognitive Success.

When Gisele is not busy creating new learning opportunities for her students, she enjoys traveling back to her homeland, Puerto Rico, with her husband and their two daughters.

Because the solid truth of God being the magnificent and first creator of ALL is the essence of all other creation coming into fruition, Gisele says one of her favorite bible verses is Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
