Jim Hunt
Jim joined the faculty of Cherry Hills Christian School in 1996 because he felt God's presence so powerfully at the school and among the children and families he met here. He and his wife are also proud Lion parents; they have three daughters who are CHC graduates, all attending from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8.
Jim aligns his approach to teaching mathematics and Bible to students of The Upper School with his care for them and desire to see them achieve their full potential. He also likes to think his students appreciate his jokes.
Jim, a native of Edina, Minn., earned a bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in Education from the University of Denver. He loves hockey, swimming in lakes and golf -- and, since arriving in Colorado, he has added mountain biking to the list of things he likes to do when he's not enjoying his time teaching. His favorite Bible verse: “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel. It is the power of God for salvation to the Jews first and also to the Greeks." (Romans 1:16)
