Karen Becker proudly holds the record for the longest term of service to CHC as a Teacher Assistant in The Preschool. She has worked with CHC's littlest students for more than 20 years and considers the it the greatest of compliments when one of them calls her "Grandma" instead of "Mrs. Becker." "My grandchildren live in Virginia, so hearing children call me Grandma touches my heart," she says. Karen attended Metropolitan State College in Denver. She is an avid gardener who also enjoys the outdoors and her daily, evening walks.
