Kimmy Stevens

Physical Education and Libray/Media Specialist

For nearly two decades, Kimmy Stevens has sought to nurture in her students a hunger and excitement for learning through literate, scripture and adventurous life experiences. At CHC, she wears dual hats that allow her to work in two areas of her expertise in education: preventative health and library sciences.
After graduating with a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, Kimmy worked with patients in orthopedic care and cardiac rehabilitation and achieved additional professional certifications as a personal trainer, aerobics instructor, health and wellness instructor and instructor of CPR/First Aid. While pursing her master's degree in Elementary Education from Georgia State University, she has pursued teaching opportunities in Christian education, serving in mission fields locally and abroad. Throughout her teaching career, Kimmy has served in a variety of leadership roles and teaching specialties, including reading intervention, academic tutoring, athletics coaching, and physical education -- which gives her plenty of opportunities to encourage CHC students and their families to maintain healthy and active lifestyles.
When she is not teaching, Kimmy enjoys spending time and tackling life's adventures with her husband and son. Her favorite Bible verse is:
