A proud Colorado native and mother of three CHC Lions, Kristen especially enjoys getting young students off to a great academic start.
Before arriving at CHC in 2014, she taught Grade 1 for several years in Santa Barbara, Calif., where she also received her bachelor's degree in Education from Westmont College. After landing at CHC with her own children, Kristen initially served as a Teacher's Assistant and as a support for our Search and Teach program.
When not in the classroom, Kristen enjoys hanging out with her children at their many activities; reading; and playing Frisbee with her dog, Stark.
Her favorite Bible verse: "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (Deuteronomy 31:8)
