Born in Minnesota to a military family, Lisa has enjoyed living in Colorado since she was a teenager. She is the proud mother of three fabulous, grown children and one spectacular grandson. All three of her children are Cherry Hills Christian School alumni.
Lisa has a bachelor's degree in English and a Secondary Education teaching license from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She has taught Language Arts and various electives in The Upper School since 2003. Lisa thrives on the energy of her students and considers it a privilege to share her Christian faith while instilling a love for Language Arts.
When she is not grading papers, Lisa enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and friends on the patio.
Her favorite Bible verses are Ephesians 3:17-19: "So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith-that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
