Originally from San Diego, Lisa traded the beaches for the mountains in 2012. She joined the Cherry Hills Christian School Faculty in 2019, dedicating her time to helping some of our littlest students learn what it means to be part of a classroom.
Lisa loves the excitement and energy of teaching in The Preschool and works hard to help our 3 year-olds develop new social and academic skills as they also learn how special they are in the eyes of God.
Before joining CHC, Lisa worked with a wide spectrum of students across various ages, socio-economic levels and educational needs. She believes that preschool is a special time to help establish a strong relationship between teachers and parents and welcomes parent participation in the classroom.
Lisa has a bachelor's degree in Education from Biola University. She also has teaching licenses for Kindergarten though Grade 8 in General Education and Special Education and a certificate to teach middle-school History.
When not in her classroom, Lisa enjoys baking, jogging, and being outdoors with her husband and three children.
