Lynda Joy Frederick grew up in Ontario, Canada, and then made her way to Texas where she obtained her Social Work degree at TWU and later taught Pre-K for many years at the church she attended there. She moved to Colorado in 2020 and loves the cool summer nights and lack of mosquitos. She and her husband find it quite lively at home with four teenagers in residence, the youngest of whom attends Cherry Hills.  She is extremely excited to be assisting with the Kindergartners this year. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, worship music, gardening, traveling, writing, hiking, and time at the lake. One of Lynda Joy's favorite Bible verses is, Psalm 95:1-2, "Come let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song."
