Meghan Hanson dreamed of becoming a classroom teacher ever since she was a child. She grew up in Southern California and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Riverside, where she was also a collegiate softball player. She continued her education and earned a Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching from the University of Redlands. Meghan began her teaching career in California and has taught everything from preschool to eighth grade. With more than a decade of teaching experience, she is eager and enthusiastic to share her passion for learning with her students at CHC.

Meghan loves the outdoors and being active. She loves golfing, paddle boarding, boating, bowling, snowboarding, hiking, playing softball or volleyball; you name it! She loves to travel, cook, play games, and spend time with her son, husband, and friends.

One of Meghan’s favorite Bible verses is, “If I rise on the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.” - Psalms 139:9-10.
