Simon Sasia

School Resource Officer

Simon is one of CHC students' all-time favorite law enforcement officers. He was born in Torino, Italy, and eventually served in the armed services there before moving on to Geneva, Switzerland, where he worked in safety and security for the United Nations. After leaving public service, he provided personal protection for prime ministers, presidents and members of the world's royal families.
Simon moved to the United States in 2003 and continues his work in international and local security -- including at CHC, where is a dedicated, on-site Security Resource Officer. Simon greets students with a smile, sometimes meets with them to discuss topics related to his role and responsibilities, and keeps a watchful eye on our campus' security and safety. As a member of our Operations Department, he collaborates regularly with the Douglas County fire, police and sheriff's departments to exchange information and seek guidance to modify security plans as appropriate and also assist with all emergency drills.
Simon is a master in Judo and enjoys teaching the martial art to adults and youth. He speaks Italian, English, Spanish, French and some Arabic and Portuguese. He lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife, sons and dog. When he's not at CHC, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, working out, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
