Parent University: Screenagers
November 5 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until November 5, 2020
Cherry Hills Christian School proudly presents Parent University in partnership with ministries, community leaders and local and state government agencies to provide CHC parents resources, classes and seminars centered around timely topics. This community collaborative also encourages parents to get to know each other as they learn together.
We invite CHC parents to join us online Oct. 29 and Nov. 5, for the first Parent University sessions of the 2020-21 academic year. Our focus: navigating the challenges of parenting in the digital age.
Helping to frame our discussions will be the award-winning documentary, “Screenagers” and its followup, “Screenagers: Next Chapter.” The films, produced by primary care physician Dr. Delaney Ruston, probe into the vulnerable corners of family life and depict messy struggles over social media, video games and academics. “Screenagers” also offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital world.
Visit here for even more details about both films.
