Support

God is good, God is great — and we thank Him continually for all He accomplishes here through people like you, our Legacy Builders. Legacy Builders are our CHC parents, friends, alumni and other donors who support and advance our mission and vision. When you are a Legacy Builder of Cherry Hills Christian School, you serve God through the gift of giving resources and time in accordance with Romans 12:6-8: “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

The Legacy Pillars of Impact

Our four Pillars of Impact give every Legacy Builder clarity, intentionality and focus. All four pillars can be seen in our Portrait of a Graduate. They are unique in their expression, yet stand in support of a single purpose. Legacy Builders receive information about new and existing projects, financial needs and connection opportunities where they can make impacts at CHC that are aligned with their own unique passions, interests and giftedness. We invite you to learn more about how we measure the impacts of Legacy Builders’ giving.

Alive Heart Pillar. The goal of this pillar is to help students grow in their identity in Christ as they accept the love of Jesus and seek to share his love with others. Legacy Builders here focus on Tuition Assistance, Mission Programs, Student Retreats, and Chapel and Bible Teaching. They might volunteer to be part of our Mission Week and Chapel programs.

Anchored Soul Pillar. The goal of this pillar is to help students gain confidence, discover their God-given gifts and talents and develop skills they need to serve God and seek His purpose for their life. Legacy Builders here focus on Academic Services, Athletics and Extracurricular Clubs, and Special Events. They might scout sponsorships for CHC and identify volunteer coaching and programming opportunities for students.

Academically Prepared Mind Pillar. The goal of this pillar is to equip students for their next step as lifelong learners. Legacy Builders here focus on Curriculum, Technology and Instructional Resources. They might make donations of their financial resources and time and connect CHC students and their families to compelling and expert guest speakers, school field trips and travel opportunities.

Abiding Strength Pillar. The goal of this pillar is to influence students to produce good fruit out of an abiding relationship with God. Legacy Builders here focus on Student Leadership, Life Groups, Mental Health and Social Emotional Resources, and Campus Safety and Security. They might connect CHC with Student Leadership Mentors and help us advance our Parent University.

5C Donations (Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit). As always, we welcome any undesignated gifts which may qualifty as 5C donations (Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit). This unique way of giving may result in the ability to deduct up to 50% of your gift as a credit on your Colorado State Income Tax Return. Please contact your tax advisor for specifics and to see if your gift qualifies.

Become a Legacy Builder - Support CHC with your gift

There are many ways to support CHC. Among them:

Grateful Giving Fund

Each year we ask parents, alumni, grandparents, employees and friends to participate in this annual giving initiative by making a charitable monetary gift to CHC. The success of Cherry Hills Christian’s Grateful Giving is measured not only by the amount of a given contribution, but by the number of individuals who participate. When you give to CHC, regardless of the amount, your contribution demonstrates your commitment to our mission and vision. In this way, gifts of all levels matter. Each donation ignites a culture of giving to allow us to continue our commitment to honoring Christ by teaching, encouraging, training and grounding students in His truth.

CHC Cares

We care about our school community by caring for our school families.

CHC Cares provides support for short and long-term needs that may arise with our school families, teachers and staff. It is guided by a committee chaired by three parents who work alongside a volunteer base of more than 75 people who serve prayerfully and confidentially to support the entire Cherry Hills Christian community — including families with students enrolled in The Preschool, The Lower School and The Upper School. CHC Cares support may include meals and referrals to local resources. Financial or tuition needs are directed to the CHC Tuition Assistance Committee. To serve or submit a request for support, please email chccares@chclions.org.

Volunteer for CHC

Cherry Hills Christian School has an amazing strength of community because of the time and talent of our volunteers. There are many opportunities to engage and connect, including Parent Council, classroom support and mission outreach. Volunteerism can make so many positive impacts on students’ lives — and it also helps hold down the cost of the excellent education we provide. For more information about how and where you could volunteer, please contact support@chclions.org.

Shopper Loyalty Programs

Thank you for thinking of Cherry Hills Christian School when designating a beneficiary for the rewards many merchants give community organizations as thanks for your business with them. For example, CHC receives funds each year from nearby King Soopers because many shoppers have linked their loyalty account with our school. The funds we collect each year from the supermarket’s neighborhood rewards program cover some costs associated with campus security.

Steps to Link Your King Soopers Loyalty Card to CHC:

  1. If you do not have a loyalty card/alternate ID already, please visit your neighborhood King Soopers to enroll in store.
  2. After receiving your loyalty card, visit www.kingsoopers.com. Look at the bottom of the home page for the Community section, and click on “King Soopers Community Rewards.” Then click on the “Enroll Now” button.
  3. Sign in to your loyalty reward account.
  4. You should be directed automatically to the Community Rewards page, but if not, select the “Community Rewards” tab on the left side of the page.
  5. In the box under “Find an Organization,” enter the code VC542 — which is associated with our school. Your search results will show Cherry Hills Christian School.
  6. Click “Enroll,” and CHC will benefit fom your King Sooper’s purchases.

Amazon Smile

This is a simple way for you to support Cherry Hills Christian School, at no cost to you. AmazonSmile is available at smile.amazon.com on your web browser, or you can simply click here and select “Chcs Education” as the charity of your choice. The school will receive .5% from each purchase made.
