Location: Ponderosa Retreat Center, Larkspur, CO
Cost: $25—includes outdoor educational and team building activities, spiritual discipleship lessons, coach bus transportation and lunch

Discipleship Focus for Ponderosa:
-Students will experience God’s majesty as they spend time in His creation, seeing firsthand the beauty and wonder of His design.
-The retreat will provide natural opportunities to strengthen friendships and build new relationships through shared experiences.
-Team-building activities will help students grow in cooperation, trust, and problem-solving with one another.
-Time in Scripture and reflection will guide students toward a deeper understanding of God’s character and His work in their lives.
Schedule:
8:00 – 8:20 am | Students arrive on CHC Campus
8:45am | Depart for Ponderosa Retreat Center in Larkspur, CO
9:30 am | Arrive at Ponderosa Retreat Center
10:00 am | Activity blocks #1 & #2
12:15 pm | Provided Lunch
1:00 pm | Activity block #3
2:30 pm | Depart for CHC Campus
3:20 pm I School Carpool Pick-up
Attire: Students may dress in athletic clothes, wearing closed toe tennis shoes and long hair must be tied back. CHC modesty standards apply.
Medical: Individual medical needs will be managed by CHC staff chaperones. Please contact Marissa Mullins, RN BSN with any questions.
Food Allergies: The Ponderosa Dining Facility is a nut-free facility. One gluten free option will be available for lunch. Please ensure all food allergies have been noted in Registration Form. A student may need to bring a lunch from home if accommodations are unable to be met. Contact Stephanie Postma with any allergy-related questions.
The Middle School Suppy Drive will take place on Thursday, September 25. All donated supplies will go to our Ministry in Motion partners on Friday, September 26.
Friday, September 26
CHC Middle School students will head out into the greater Denver area for our Fall Ministry in Motion (MIM) service day. Accompanied by teachers and chaperones, students will partner with 17 local organizations to serve, meet real needs, and build meaningful relationships.
These experiences are designed to help students reflect God’s love through acts of kindness and compassion. We pray that each MIM day lays a strong foundation in their hearts—highlighting the power of service and the call to live out God’s truth.
