How To Apply to CHC
Follow our three-step process. First, we would encourage you to come on campus and take a tour. During the summer months of June and July, tours will be on select Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Please email the Director of Enrollment and Community Engagement, Stafie Parker, to get scheduled. Once an application is submitted and reviewed, our Admissions Team will contact K-Grade 8 families to potentially set up an assessment (either the Gesell Developmental Observation for all Kindergarten and Grade 1 applicants, or the MAPs measurement for all Grade 2 through Grade 8 students). Assessment results will be reviewed and then your family could be invited for a family interview with your child. Preschool families will be notified about placement and next steps.

Great relationships often start with great conversations. Contact us, and someone from our Admissions Team will be happy to provide more information and to answer your questions — including questions about whether space is available in the grade and programs desired.
B. Complete an online application. Applications will then be reviewed by The Lower or Upper School Director. To be considered for next steps, please ensure you have included current report cards and standardized test scores for your child.
C. Students seeking admission for The Lower and Upper Schools will be contacted to schedule testing. Assessment results will be reviewed by The Lower or Upper School Director, and then your family could be invited for a family interview with a CHC administrator. If accepted, the Admissions Team will reach out to your family.
Preschool families will be notified about placement and given instructions to complete enrollment.

Carolina and I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for being part of our son Alex’s development over the past eight years. CHC is a wonderful environment for elementary and middle school development. Your leadership has assembled an incredible pool of talent!
Alex has been fortunate to have been exposed to so many wonderful, interested, dedicated educators at CHC, professionals with kind hearts influencing his personal development – including those of you who left big impressions for him to learn from while Tim was going through a health scare in 2017. Each of you in your own way left an indelible, positive impact on Alex.
Your thoughtful and diligent preparations — before and during the COVID-19 outbreak — have spoken volumes about your collective character and interest in navigating a sea of students’ hormones and periodic indifference on a daily basis. As parents, we know your job already is not easy, and with COVID-19, we watched as each of you persevered and pulled out every stop to finish Alex’s final school year at CHC with maximum effect. Although 8th graders get ‘faux embarrassed’ easily, don’t think for a moment that our son didn’t appreciate the love; the attention; the Easter gift; and the personal visit from a teacher, who stopped by to drop off a yard sign and a lovely graduation package. Those extra steps CHC took ultimately will be a source of pride, smiles and fond remembrance.
