The Heart of Christ-Centered Education
At CHC, spiritual formation is woven into every aspect of school life, helping students develop a faith that is both personal and enduring.
Relationships
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart… [and] love your neighbor as yourself.”
Mark 12:30-31
Because we are created in the image of God (Imago Dei), we view every community member as inherently valuable. We cultivate deep, compassionate relationships that support each student’s spiritual, emotional, and academic growth.
Knowledge
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching…”
2 Timothy 3:16
We weave a comprehensive, Christ-centered worldview into all academic disciplines.
- Biblical Literacy: Students study the overarching narrative of Scripture: Creation, the Fall, Redemption, and Restoration.
- Critical Thinking: Through the lens of Christ’s identity and truth, students develop the moral foundation needed to engage critically with cultural issues and confidently own their faith.
Spiritual Disciplines
“Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds…”
Deuteronomy 11:18
We introduce age-appropriate habits that promote personal spiritual growth, helping students steward their unique talents and strengthen a lifelong relationship with the Lord:
- Scripture Memory & Prayer
- Journaling & Gratitude
- Worship & Service
Chapel
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105
Our Lower and Middle School students gather weekly for a dedicated, reverent time of gospel-centered worship and teaching.
- Student Leadership: Students actively participate by sharing personal testimonies, building public speaking confidence.
- Application: Weekly messages challenge students to use God’s Word as their firm foundation and live out biblical truths beyond the classroom.
Outreach & Missions
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel…”
Mark 16:15
