Dodge For A Cause Registration: Open!

CHC’s annual Dodge for a Cause is a long-standing Middle School tradition that fosters school spirit through a fun-filled morning of dodgeball. Not only is it an exciting experience, but it also raises funds for our sister school, Musana.

Registration for our Dodge For A Cause event is officially open and closes on December 4. Make sure your student is signed up for this beloved annual tradition.

Important FAQ’s

Yes, every student was placed on a team with a grade 8 LEOS Student Ambassador Team Captain and a teacher as a Coach. The teams are comprised of students in Grades 6, 7, and 8. The teams are created through a blind draft process and students had the opportunity to share one or two friends they would enjoy being on a team with.

No, the costume is totally optional. It does add an element of excitement to the event. We try to keep it very simple.

We understand that Dodgeball isn’t for everyone. We would encourage you to register your student so they can participate in the Marketplace (imagine a Food Court set up in 173) and cheer on their team from the sidelines.

Half of the registration fee goes to funding the Marketplace. If a student is not registered, they will not receive tickets to shop at the marketplace. The deadline to register is December 4. Register your student here: REGISTRATION LINK

The Marketplace is a parent-run food court that happens during Dodge For A Cause. Students will rotate out to eat breakfast and treats during the event. Students will receive a wristband that allows them to “buy” a set amount of items from the Marketplace on the morning of Dodge For A Cause. If a student is not registered, they will not get a wristband, but they can be a spectator for the day.

Parent volunteers are welcome to sneak in and watch as time allows. Please sign-up to volunteer here: PARENT MARKETPLACE HELPER SIGN-UP
