NEW PARENT ORIENTATION | Preschool – Grade 8
LEAD LIKE A LION NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT + PARENT ORIENTATION All Incoming Grade 6 and New CHC Grades 7 & 8 Tuesday, August 6, 6:45 – 8:00 pm To successfully lay the foundation for a meaningful school year, we host our mandatory Lead Like a Lion New Student + Parent Orientation. ALL incoming Grade 6 students, NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL Grade 7 and 8 students, and parents must attend. Students and parents will spend time with your child’s Life Group teacher reviewing our school culture, ROAR behavior expectations, dress code, and cell phone policy. Families will meet teachers, the school counselor, and administrators. We will conclude our evening with ice cream and fellowship. RSVP HERE |
| NEW FAMILY WORSHIP & WELCOME Sunday, August 11, 9 am Join us at 9 am for worship at Cherry Hills Community Church. Afterward, we will meet on the church patio for donuts and coffee. | MEET & GREET | Preschool – Grade 8 Wednesday, August 14 Meet & Greet offers a one-stop place to get ready for school. If you are a previous CHC family, Meet & Greet will feel a little different this year. We want to honor your time by streamlining our process. Families must come to CHC during their assigned time listed below. You will visit different stations; at each station, you will receive a checkmark that you have completed that task. Yearbook photos will be taken. This is a mandatory event for all CHC families. Meet & Greet Time Slots 8:00 – 8:45 am Grade 8 Chapel 8:30 – 10:00 am Last Name: A – F + Grade 8 Families 10:15 – 11:45 am Last Name: G – L 12:00 – 1:30 pm Last Name: M – S 1:45 – 3:15 pm Last Name: T – Z Yearbook Photos Preschool – Preschool students do not wear dress code attire. No retakes will be offered to preschool students. Kindergarten – Grade 7 – Must come in dress code attire for photos Grade 8 – Option to dress nicely (modesty standards apply) or wear dress code attire Checklist Stations: Visit the stations listed below.
