Love Extended Day
Sunday, October 4 : LOVE EXTENDED WITH CHERRY HILLS COMMUNITY CHURCH
Cost: No Charge
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Our CHC Grade 6 and 7 Families will partner with Cherry Hills Community Church for an unforgettable day of service and connection at “Love Extended” on October 4! We will head out into the community to partner with incredible non-profits and bring hope, help, and love to those in need. This will be an opportunity to step out of our regular routines and jumping into local service projects. Indicate your desire to attend via the Student Participation Form. Additional details will be sent closer to the serve day.
Ponderosa Retreat Details
Monday – Wednesday, October 5-7 : OFF CAMPUS MISSION FOCUSED RETREAT
Location: Ponderosa Retreat and Conference Center // Larkspur, CO
Cost: Early Bird Rate: $310
After September 4: $360
- Morning and evening mission focused spiritual discipleship lessons with worship, prayer and small group discussion
- On site service opportunity
- Outdoor educational activities
- Wednesday evening closing service at CHCC with the Student Ministry Team
- Includes transportation
- Lodging
- Meals
Full payment which is non-refundable and non-transferable of $310 or $360 will be auto-drafted by FACTS on Monday, September 21.

A trip packet with schedule and a packing list will be provided in September. The retreat will conclude on Wednesday, October 7 at 8:15 PM. Students will have dinner at CHC and participate in a closing Worship Service on the CHCC campus. Pick up will be at 8:15 PM at the CHC Gym Doors.
Ministry in Motion Details
Thursday, October 8 : LOCAL MIM DAY
8:20 AM – 3:20 PM
Cost: No Charge
After several days soaking in what it means to be on Mission for God we will put it into action with Ministry in Motion Day. Middle School Community Groups will head out into the greater Denver community to serve at various ministries and organizations for the entire school day. Students will come alongside these organizations with their time, talents, and energy to demonstrate service in the name of Christ to local communities.

Child unable to attend?
If your child is unable to attend Missions Week for any reason they will be required to complete 15 service hours by Monday, April 19. If your child does not participate in Missions Week we will be in touch with additional details.

Updated Magnus Requirements for Mission Retreats
New Magnus requirements have been added for the upcoming grades 6 and 7 Missions Retreats. If you have already completed your child’s Magnus forms, you will need to log back in and complete these newly added requirements.
You can access Magnus in either of the following ways:
- The easiest way is to log in to your FACTS account, select Student, then Medical. This will take you directly to Magnus.
- Visit MagnusHealth.com and log in using your CHC Magnus credentials.
- These requirements are due Friday, September 18, 2026.
Please note: Any medications needed for the retreat must be dropped off to the clinic the week of September 28, 2026.
